New Website

I am pleased to announce the creation of our new website!  Bob Henz, our Pack Secretary, has been working hard to get it up and running, and filled with useful content.

This blog will be effectively shut down in favor of using the new website, effective today.  We'll leave this site up for historical reference, until we get a substantial portion of the content migrated.

Inclement Weather Policy

Our Inclement Weather Policy is as follows:

• If Fayette County Schools are closed, or if they let out early, we will NOT meet.
• If FCPS are on a morning delay, we will still meet.

In all cases, parents should use their best judgment before traveling in inclement weather.  Cub Scouts is a volunteer, optional activity, and the safety of the Scouts and their families comes first, always.  If you are not comfortable with the weather, please let safety be your guide.

Pack Meeting Tuesday 1/26

Our January Pack meeting is coming up fast!

Where: Liberty Elementary Cafeteria
When: Tuesday, January 26
What Time: 6:30 PM

Families are encouraged to attend!  We have a few more Bobcats to recognize, and several Dens have skits and performances to show us.

Come have some fun with us as we kick off the new year!

Den Meeting TUESDAY 1/12

Our next regular Den Meeting will be Tuesday, January 12 from 6:30-7:30pm.

ACE Tiger Cubs are meeting on a different schedule.  Please refer to direction from Kevin Wilder about that.

Please pick up your boys promptly at (or before) 7:30.

Regular meetings for January are:

1/12/2010, 6:30pm : Den Meeting
1/19/2010, 6:30pm : Den Meeting
1/25/2010, 6:30pm : Pack Meeting (ALL Cubs, including ACE Tigers)

Regular meetings will be the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Tuesdays at 6:30pm through the school year.  We will not meet if school is canceled or let out early for weather.

January Meetings

Meetings for January will be as follows:

• January 5, 6:30pm: Leader's Planning Meeting (Journey Baptist Church)
• January 12, 6:30pm: Den Meeting (Liberty)
• January 19, 6:30pm: Den Meeting (Liberty)
• January 26, 6:30pm: Pack Meeting (Liberty)

Note that at least the ACE Tiger cubs will be meeting on an alternate Den Meeting schedule at ACE.  Please watch your emails for details.

Leaders Meeting January 5, 6:30pm

What: Leader's planning meeting
Where: Journey Baptist Church
When: January 5, 6:30-7:30pm

We will be planning for January and Feburary, discussing the budget, and possibly talking about website improvements.

Journey Baptist is located just outside Man O' War on Richmond Road, in the same shopping center as Pedal Power Bike Shop.  It's on the right, just after you pass Glenn Auto Mall.
